The ACerS Young Professionals Network (YPN) offers student conference attendees the opportunity to be matched up with a professional over lunch.
The "Lunch with a Pro" program is generally offered each year during the following conferences:
- Electronic Materials and Applications (EMA)
- International Conference and Expo on Advanced Ceramics and Composites (ICACC)
- Materials Science and Technology (MS&T)
In 2021 and 2022, the YPN switched gears to offer a "Network with a Pro" event at the virtual EMA and ICACC conferences.
Professionals
Professionals that are registered for the conferences where the program is being organized, are invited to participate ahead of the conference. The professionals will have a chance to be matched up with student(s) over the lunch hour.
Students
Students who are registered for the conferences are invited to fill out a short survey indicating which date(s) they would like to be matched up with a professional over the lunch hour.
