Sintering 2008 Archive

A total of 202 people from 20 countries attended the International Conference on Sintering 2008. Sintering 2008 was held November 16 – 20, 2008, at the Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines in La Jolla, CA. The Conference was organized by Eugene Olevsky of San Diego State University and Rajendra K. Bordia of the University of Washington. Approximately 200 papers were presented including 40 posters.

This was the fifth meeting in a series that started in 1995 as a continuation of a famous cycle of conference on Sintering and Related Phenomena organized by G. Kuczynski. The previous meeting was held in Grenoble, Franc, in September 2005.

Meeting Proceedings
The proceedings for Sintering 2008 will be published in Ceramic Transactions Volume 209, available in early 2010. The volume will be available for purchase in the ACerS Bookstore.
