Meeting History
This conference was the eighth in a series of international conferences that provides a global forum for presentations and information exchange on the latest emerging ceramic and glass technologies. PACRIM conferences have established a strong reputation for state-of-the-art presentations and information exchange on the cutting-edge ceramic and glass technologies. They have facilitated global dialogue and discussion with leading global experts, practitioners, and end-users.
ACerS organized this important international meeting with the cooperation and support of the Australian Ceramic Society, the Ceramic Society of Japan, the Chinese Ceramic Society, and the Korean Ceramic Society. In addition, the International Commission on Glass (ICG) held its Annual Meeting in conjunction with PACRIM. The ICG led a Glass Plenary session on Monday afternoon and a Glass tutorial on Wednesday morning along with many technical committee and council meetings. The International Ceramic Federation (ICF) held a council meeting on Thursday afternoon.
